LaGuardia Airports, like the other airports administered by the Port Authority of NY and NJ, has a pet relief area located outside of the secured sections of the passenger terminals.
At LaGuardia, the pet relief area us just outside of Terminal D, near the taxi arrivals area. A small gravelled area is marked with signage and low fence that partially surrounds the roughly 10-foot-square area.
Pet owners are expected to clean up after their pets, although recent online reports from passengers indicate that bags and trash cans are not provided.
Pets and animals other than service animals are required to remain in carriers at all times other than while using the relief area. There are no pet relief locations anywhere within the airport’s secured areas.
